PFH Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen
About us
Personal support and practical orientation
The PFH Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen was recognized by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture in 1995, making it the oldest private, state-recognized university in Lower Saxony.
In January 2022, around 4,000 students are enrolled in one of the 30 degree programs in the fields of management, engineering, psychology and business psychology, business law and orthobionics (out: healthcare technology). They study either at one of the campus locations in Göttingen or Stade or at one of the 14 distance learning centers throughout Germany and Austria. All study programs combine a consistent practical orientation, their pronounced internationality and the development of innovative courses. In particular, the technology study programs Composites and Orthobionics form an interface with Measurement Valley's activities in the field of training young professionals.
Through its Board of Trustees and its more than 500 partner companies, the university has excellent connections to industry throughout Germany. Particularly in the Göttingen and Stade regions, PFH is embedded in a largely medium-sized business environment.
