BBS 1 - Arnoldi Schule

The Arnoldi School is the largest BBS in the district with approx. 2200 pupils. In the invitingly designed and modernly furnished building, the school makes an important contribution to the qualification of the next generation of skilled workers in the region with a wide range of educational offerings in the main profile areas of business and health. In addition to the vocational school with almost twenty training occupations, the school portfolio is rounded off by offerings such as the vocational grammar school, the technical secondary school and vocational schools, each with a focus on business. The logistics centre set up in 2010 offers a special learning perspective - training for the region, which wants to be well positioned in this area in the future.

The modern educational offer proves that the school, founded in 1833, is continuously working on getting better: The BBS, named after E.W. Arnoldi, one of the founders of the vocational school system, offers degrees up to the general university entrance qualification. This is reflected, for example, in the annual participation of the vocational grammar school in the national "Jugend gründet" competition. But the school does not only focus on technical qualification. The Arnoldi Prize is awarded annually to graduates who have distinguished themselves in a special way through achievement, attitude and a sense of community.
