Working Group Training

All members of the association have one wish in common: to find suitable and qualified trainees and employees. The companies of the association offer positions in a future-oriented industrial sector and depend on the qualifications of their employees.
To further career advancement on all levels, the instructors of the members have decided to work closely together.
In cooperation with local schools the group’s goal is to arouse the students’ interest in natural sciences and related fields of work. Especially girls and young women are a target here.

New technologies and advanced demands on our employees call for new and more flexible job descriptions measuring up to these demands.
Modern job descriptions require a broad training. Individual companies are often not in the position to realize such training on their own. Therefore, two or more companies join in a training network to instruct a single trainee.
The working groups’ goal is to increase the quality and effectiveness in all sectors of basic and advanced training.
The group regularly organizes fairs to inform outsiders about training and employment opportunities and to gather the best possible new blood for the center of metrology in Goettingen.
